Important factors in family business internationalization

This paper presents the results of a study of the factors that influence the internationalization of family businesses. It analyzes the influence of a number of factors that are relevant to any internationalization process, differentiating between those that aid the process and those that hinder it. It also investigates certain special characteristics of family businesses and discusses how these characteristics affect the internationalization process in this type of firm.
