One of the ways to study how projects are managed is by reviewing the different stages along the project life cycle. In a previous note we studied how to plan for the project, while in this note we show how to incorporate uncertainty and risks into the plan. This results in the inclusion of (time, budget and resources) buffers and the preparation of contingency plans in the project.
